Financial Management

S2S recognizes that the goal of a Federal financial management system is to provide timely and accurate statements or reports of financial position while meeting required Federal/DoD financial standards as part of audit readiness preparation and audit sustainment. To deliver this goal our teams utilize their deep expertise and hands-on experience across all areas within the Federal/DoD financial landscape that include:

    - GFEBS (SAP)
    - DCAS, MOCAS (Cash Processing)
    - DTS, and Concur (Travel)
    - GPC (Procurement Cards)
    - EDA
    - iRapt (AP Invoices and Receiving Reports)
    - PD2
    - FPDS-NG, Synchada (Relocation)
    - Treasury SPS / CARS (Payments / Reconciliation)

Budget Formulation and Planning

Summit2Sea understands the experience and expertise required to support budget formulation and execution within the federal environment. We have  experience performing the following end-to-end activities across Planning, Programming and Budget Execution (PPBE):
  • Developing/reviewing budget justification materials such as Congressional Justification Books, budget narratives and other exhibits
  • Entering budget execution and formulation financial transactions in the system of record
  • Providing business process expertise in troubleshooting financial operation and technology issues in various budget systems such as Hyperion
  • Creating financial reports to support and answer agency internal and external data calls and requests
  • Tracking and analyzing the effect of program budget decisions and updating project budgets accordingly
  • Responding to Congressional inquiries with financial data
  • Managing project budgets and maintaining financial and database control·

Utilizing a help desk process that is repeatable and robust in serving clients will significantly reduce the total time from incident reporting to incident resolution. Regardless of the team structure or size, the incident lifecycle is still the same and is executed effectively and efficiently using best practices while significantly improving client and end-user satisfaction. Our approach for Help Desk support leads to a culture of accountability that recognizes help desk success as the ultimate litmus test for customer satisfaction. The foundation of S2S’s Help Desk approach is exceptional customer service with a focus on increasing organizational business process efficiencies.
